The CSST-Observatory RT Queue is the general task-tracking tool the Observatory Group uses.
All Observatory Group members are able to post to this RT queue. New members need to be added via a ticket to the “DoIT-RT-RequestTracker” RT Queue via rt.umbc.edu. Also, you can just ask Roy to submit a ticket for you.
Be sure to appropriately scope (haha) tickets. Something like “Fix the GAM” is not well-scoped. Instead, something like “Replace encoder belt for GAM translating stage” is more appropriate. Use frequent replies and/or comments to respond and track progress with the ticket.
To generate a ticket, you can send an email with the appropriate subject to “csst-observatory@rt.umbc.edu”. You will only have access to this email from your UMBC email.
Group meetings will center around this ticket queue.
