  1. Propped roof door open with a small desk
  2. Propped the stairwell door with plank
  3. Designed subtended object-guiding
  4. Started setup ~16:50
  5. We have a fan blowing air out the door (The Box Fan)
  6. Slewed to Jupiter for pointing.
  7. Slewed to Almach to align.
  8. Aiden came in and we introduced him to information on tracking and guiding.
  9. We started the tracking study by implementing the plan.
    1. First, we started with no guiding and good tracking using (15.011/s) - Second, we did no guiding and bad tracking using (14.5 /s)
    2. We decided to use 14.5 /s because 14 /s was too much of a difference and moved relatively fast.
    3. Third, we did comet tracking with PHD2 and bad tracking with (14.5 ''/s)
    4. Lastly, we did good tracking with comet tracking.
    5. Objects used for tracking “NGC 1662”, “NGC 2301”, “M35”, “MGC 2158”
    6. Ran tracking data through the tracking code.
    7. Further plans are to analyze data to see if it matches Jupiter.
  10. Then we introduced seeing study to Aiden.
    1. Slewed to HD 10204 and took 5 seeing frames.
    2. Slewed to HD 19787 and took 5 seeing frames.
    3. Slewed to HD 37481 and took 5 seeing frames.
  11. Guest came in and we explained the aspects of the control room.
  12. Slewed to M42 for pretty pictures.
  13. Slewed to M35 for more tracking frames.
