- We opened the dome
- Turned on both of the fans (Opened the door and set up the fan)
- Connected the camera and cables
- Took the big ladder outside
Took data for the training modules
- Introduction to detector
- Telescope-detector connection
- Intro to telescope hardware (ICRON box ports)
- Explanation how to exit the dome
Slewed and viewed Polaris, Capella, the Croc's eye galaxy, and the Blaze Star
More training data:
- Focusing images in Sharpcap and DFMTCS
- Determining the best conditions for obs sessions
Took some finderscope captures of the blaze star to compare against post-blaze blaze star captures in a few weeks
Shutdown Recorded shut down procedures for training modules
